Rooted in Alsatian heritage. Redefining Hill Country leisure.

Our Story

A sanctuary shaped by its setting

Alsatian RV Resort sits on pristine Hill Country terrain in Castroville—a town founded in 1844 by Alsatian pioneers who carried their European language, faith, and timber-frame architecture across the Atlantic. We built the resort to honor that heritage: refined, warm, and unhurried.

“Hill Country Resort Living” isn’t a tagline here—it’s the operating manual. Slow mornings by the pool, easy evenings under the pavilion, meticulously maintained grounds, and a community that returns season after season.

“We didn’t set out to build an RV park. We set out to build the place we’d want to come home to—and then keep it that way.”

Guests enjoying the resort pool and hot tub

One of the best, most unique lodging experiences I’ve had. The Casitas are comfortable and tasteful, and I love how modern the private office and bathroom are. Alsatian had all the best amenities while keeping an outdoorsy, peaceful resort feel right on the golf course.

Excellent choice to unplug and get in touch with nature and nice folks. The community activities through the winter are fantastic, and having the golf course next door is a dream. Highly recommend for snowbirds looking for a premium stay.

A wonderful stay—we’d definitely recommend it for families. The pool and hot tub are pristine, and the surrounding historic town is incredibly charming. We will absolutely be back next summer.

Spent five months here this winter. The adjacent golf course views and the morning coffee meetups in the clubhouse made our season. Meticulous grounds.

Traveled with two dogs. The enclosed run and the walking trails made it easy. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff, and the rig fit our 40’ motorhome with room to spare.

Our Class A fit beautifully on the concrete pad. Having our own private outdoor kitchen and indoor climate-controlled bath and office changed our RV lifestyle.
